OCWC Technical Committee
As a point of clarification, what has been operating previously as the Technology Committee is actually the Technology Working Group. There is an official committee with some overlapping interests called the ICT Strategic Planning Committee. The ICTSP has the responsibility to determine the strategic plan for the consortium as it relates to technology, and the working group has been doing more on-the-ground work like developing best practices and interoperability events like "sprints". Interested parties are welcome to participate in either or both endeavors.

Governance Committee
A collection of people addressing issues of Governance for the OCWC, particularly the steps toward establishment of the OCWC as a non-profit corporation under US law. These steps are divided into a number of different OCWC Governance Projects.

OCWC Toolkit
This initiative seeks to collect in one place a portable kit of resources that have proven useful in getting OCW projects off the ground at a variety of institutions. From tips on making the OCW case to IP management software, what are the necessary implements, and how can we get them into the hands of those who need them most? In what ways will needs differ in different regions? There are two main sites for OCWC Toolkit information:
- Join the Toolkit working group and contribute the resources that have best served your own OCW project.
- Use the Toolkit materials the working group has already assembled. Use the left navigation menu to see kits related to different ocw-related needs.
Legal Affairs
A committee of people addressing Legal Affairs for the OCWC. Initially this committee is focused on all of the startup activites of the Consortium. The issues are on the Legal Affairs Committee and page.
